A little Victorian tourism
With a little break between interviewing, I was finally able to take Lyds out of Melbourne for some well overdue sightseeing. First on the agenda was a visit to the beautiful little beach town of Portsea.
Portsea is on the tip of Port Phillip Bay about an hour and a half from Melbourne. On one side of town is the bay and on the other is miles and miles of Surf Beaches heading out to the Pacific Ocean. We had lunch in the Iconic Portsea Pub, which was one of my old Summer Uni hangouts. In fact, I gave Lyds a tour of some of my old favourite haunts from days gone by, including the Portsea Backbeach, Blairgowrie Rockpool and the Sorrento Pub.
Despite the fact it is the middle of winter here, we had a beautiful sunny 15 degree day to take it all in. Here's a few little pics.....
