Nylah - coming on 4 months

Well, our little Nylah is nearly 4 months old now and such a true delight to be around. She is such a smiley baby. She's already laughing and rolling around our new home.

Born at 7lbs 12oz, she is already hit - 17lbs 6 oz, yet still slender !! Her height and weight are actually in the 97% percentile - she's going to be a tall one.

Our new pad

Without actively looking we were lucky enough to have a great new home fall into our lap. Whilst we loved our Apartment on the Yarra River in Richmond, with a growing family and more importantly, lots of Canadian visitors (hint hint) to come, we felt the need to move into a bigger home.

One of the Director's at Doug's work had been living in a great pad in our favorite Melbourne suburb - Hawthorn. Doug had let it be known that we were feeling a little cramped in our old spot, so when Aiden bought a house elsewhere he asked if we were interested in taking over their place. We enthusiastically accepted, and just as our lease was finishing up we moved into our new home. Nearly double the size and only 5 minutes from Doug's work, we could hardly believe the rent was virtually the same price!! It also allows for more father/daughter time as Doug can now sneak home for lunch with the family.

We moved in during the first week of May and have already had 60+ people over for Doug's recent surprise birthday party.

Daddy's little Girl

From the day Nylah was born people told me how much she looked like her father. I knew it to be true but was in no way prepared for how much she is following in her father's footsteps until I saw Doug's baby pictures. The resemblance is incredible. Always was Daddy's little girl!
